Crepes with fruit and creme fillings

I never had crepes before that has fruit fillings. It is just like a pancake when you cook it. They have a special pan when they cook it and you can see that the shape is circle. They made it pretty good and it is yummy! It is very thin.

After we ate sushi, we head up to the mall and saw crepes house. Brian and I were very curious about the crepes. We both love crepes but then this is pretty cool and yummy looking crepes. They have different types of stuff. This is how they make my crepes ...with mango ice cream and I think the white stuff was a coolwhip with banana in it. It is so yummy, I tell you.
I think that is a whipped cream.....taste like whipped cream when I ate it LOL.

And now she put the mango ice cream....hmmm looks good. You can see on the side that she is getting ready to peel the banane and slice it.

This is it... Banana mango crepes... It is yummy. Mary and I shared this. Benjamin got a chocolate sprinkles and Brian got something different. I forgot it. It is hard for us to convince Benjamin that crepes is so good. He refused but when Brian put a little chocolate in his finger and put in Ben's mouth... He tasted it and I think it is good. HE grabbed the crepes and eat it. This kid is so funny.

Mexican Wedding Cookies recipe

Mexican Wedding Cookies

When I was baking this cookies, the food network rated as to easy but for me as a beginner.. Oh boy! that was difficult. Especially that I was using a hand mixer to mix the ingredients. The first time I bake this, it was hard and on my second time. It was not so hard because Brian bought a kitchen aid mixer. Everything was quick in mixing the ingredients.

Whip up simple pecan cookies that are perfect for any special occasion or holiday. In my opinion that using a food processor to chopped the pecan is really easy. I love pecan nuts and so my hubby.

Recipe Summary
Yield: 2 1/2 dozen cookies
Prep time: 20 minutes
Cook time: 40 minutes
Ease of preparation: Easy

Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
1/2 cup confectioners' sugar, plus more for coating baked cookies
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour, plus more for dusting hands
1 cup pecans, chopped into very small pieces

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 275 degrees F. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper. Use parchment paper because you have clean cookie sheet after every bake.

Using an electric mixer, cream the butter and sugar at low speed until smooth. Beat in the vanilla. At low speed gradually add the flour. Mix in the pecans with a spatula. With floured hands, take out about 1 tablespoon of dough and shape into a crescent. Continue to dust hands with flour as you make more cookies. Place onto prepared cookie sheets. Bake for 40 minutes. When cool enough to handle but still warm, roll in additional confectioners' sugar. Cool on wire racks.

I use kitchen aid mixer- not a hand mixer to mix the ingredients. Just follow the recipe and viola! you are good to go. I am wishing to be a good baker. My friend Aileen commented that my cookies is so good. She ate it with a green tea.

Grand Floridian FL

We are girlfriends

My husband had a wonderful friends online, they are also Disney Vacation Club members just like us. We finally meet in person during the mouseowners events. One of their event is GFs afternoon tea at Grand Floridian Resorts. Brian was asking me if I wanna join and I said "SURE". I will just give a shot and I never chatted them online because I got busy with the kids and my money blogging LOL.

Do you want some tea?

I first met few of the ladies during the first event- get together at the pool at Boardwalk Villas. It is funny because we brought our swim wear. Benjamin was so excited to jump at the pool. He is wearing his lifevest already. I just did not have a chance to talk to them but even for that. They are nice ladies and they are very friendly. I can see on their faces.

I never done any afternoon tea before and I just don't have an idea what we are going to do. I was asking them if they were done it before but all of us said "NEVER". This is fun and I was trying to figure out what am I gonna order at their menu. It seems everything are very interesting. I always drink green tea and I just remembered that Brian's sister loves Jasmine tea. Oh well, I guess I will try Jasmine tea. I had it before but then maybe theirs are different. The server asked what we gonna have and I ordered Buckingham Palace hahahhaa.. wow! that is pretty expensive - its a palace in Europe. I am just kidding. But I really ordered something Buckingham LOL and I asked if I could have a Jasmine Tea. The tea smells so good and it taste different than the one I tried before.
The server serves us a jug of tea LOL and then she poured it on our tea cups LOL. She saw that nobody starting. I was enjoying talking with them. The server came and she brought our sandwiches.

Here's my sandwiches... it is yummy huh!

When we were done eating our sandwiches, the servers served us two types of tarts. It is very yummy..... and then I asked the ladies that I need to go because Brian is waiting for me in the outside. I did not bother to get some dessert.... I know that was yum!

This is the menu that I ordered during our GFs afternoon tea ...Buckingham Palace - Our traditional tea sandwiches, scones and jam tarts complemented by fresh strawberries and cream, or a selection of freshly baked pastries, along with your choice of tea. $19.50 per guest .... and I choose Jasmine tea.. a jug of tea LOL.
